Discover the roots of Ohio’s agricultural heritage at Hale Farm & Village during the annual Sow and Grow Farm Festival, where history and horticulture come alive! This hands-on, family-friendly festival offers visitors of all ages a unique opportunity to experience the daily life of 19th-century farming—blended with modern-day gardening and sustainability practices.

Special Feature: The Citizens of Hale Farm & Village Annual Plant Sale
From 10:00am–4:00pm each day, shop the beloved Plant Sale, hosted by the Citizens of Hale Farm & Village auxiliary group. Find a wide selection of historic and heirloom plants, including annuals, perennials, and herbs—perfect for any garden enthusiast.

Historic Village & Artisan Demonstrations:
Stroll through our 19th-century village to explore historic buildings and experience a working farm complete with sheep, oxen, and chickens. Throughout the day, watch demonstrations of:

Glassblowing
Pottery
Blacksmithing
Spinning and weaving
Other traditional crafts and trades

Shop & Dine:
Enjoy fresh, farm-inspired lunches at Café 1810 and browse unique handmade goods in the Marketplace, including blown glass, pottery, and locally made souvenirs.

Admission for all activities is $15 for adults, Children Admission (3-12) $8 to Youth Admission (age 3-17) $10 and free for members
