Art Exhibition: Shelter as a Human Right

Curated by Eric Tuck-Macalla, Shelter as a Human Right explores what it means to be
unsheltered, to be under the strain of housing insecurity, and to be a refugee in today’s social
climate.

This group exhibition features two- and three-dimensional artworks created by artists
from the unhoused community that Macalla assists at St. Paul’s UCC in Cleveland, Ohio, as well
as Macalla’s own sculptural structures.

Visitors will experience emotional representations of
home, hearth, and shelter, through the lens of individuals who have experienced this
displacement firsthand.
