Art Exhibition: Light Remains - Meaghan M. Reed

Meaghan M. Reed’s intricate, layered mixed-media artworks in Light Remains emerged from
her need to grieve and hold memories close. Within flowers are fragments of family memories,
childhood remnants, and relics of time and place; also present are her brother’s own photographs
which help to shape a narrative about the fragility and immense value of a life cut short. In the
aftermath of loss, language often falters—there is both a silence that settles inside, and a restless
urge to articulate what feels uncontainable.
