Kate Starks

Kate Starks (she/her) is a multidisciplinary performing artist with over a decade of experience creating dynamic, mesmerizing works that weave fire, LED, and inventive props with movement, culture, and story. Her performances fuse technique and play into visually striking experiences.

Her favorite prop is a hula hoop. She loves to work with up to six hoops at once: juggling, balancing work, creating shapes, and illusory patterns.

When Kate is not performing, she is a mother, writer, researcher, and movie lover!
